A private jet owned by rock singer Vince Neil collided with a parked aircraft on the runway at Scottsdale Airport, Arizona, killing at least one person and injuring three others.
"A Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and struck a parked Gulfstream 200 at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona," the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement on February 10.
Video footage released by U.S. media shows the Learjet skidding across the runway before crashing into the stationary Gulfstream 200. Airport officials said the left main landing gear of the Learjet appeared to have malfunctioned upon landing, leading to the crash.
The airport was shut down following the accident as emergency crews responded.
Jet Linked to Rock Star Vince Neil
Officials confirmed the Learjet 35A was owned by Chromed in Hollywood, a company associated with Vince Neil, the lead singer of Mötley Crüe.
"There were two pilots and two passengers on board. Mr. Neil was not on the aircraft at the time of the crash," his attorney said in a statement.
Recent U.S. Aviation Disasters
This latest accident adds to a series of deadly aviation incidents across the U.S. in less than two weeks:

- January 31: A Learjet 55 air ambulance crashed at an intersection in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, killing seven people and injuring 19 others.
- February 6: A small passenger plane carrying 10 people disappeared while flying from Unalakleet to Nome, Alaska. The wreckage was found the next day in an ice-covered sea, with no survivors.
