Security at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida has been heightened with robotic dogs and continuous patrol boats following his victory in the U.S. presidential election.
In a video published by Reuters on November 8, a robotic dog was seen patrolling the Mar-a-Lago premises. Patrol boats and armed police officers were also stationed outside the complex to maintain security.
Since his election win on November 6, Trump has limited his public appearances. He has primarily been receiving congratulatory messages, giving brief phone interviews, and beginning discussions on establishing his new administration.
Security at Mar-a-Lago has been stepped up, featuring robotic dogs and ongoing patrol boats. In the Reuters video, a robotic dog is seen patrolling the area around the resort. Patrol boats and armed officers are frequently present outside the complex.
Following his election, Trump has kept a low public profile, focusing on congratulatory communications, brief phone interviews, and setting up his new government. Trump has survived two assassination attempts. On July 13, he was grazed by a bullet while campaigning in Butler, Pennsylvania. Images of the former president, his face bloodied, raising a clenched fist and shouting "fight," became a symbol of his campaign. Security subsequently surrounded him with bulletproof glass during outdoor rallies.
On September 15, another assassination attempt was thwarted by the Secret Service near a golf course in West Palm Beach. Security forces fired shots at the suspect, who fled and was later captured in Martin County.
